In "Setting up your workplace" section - re: Importing DEM data
What format was the original data in? Do you have general tips for users for getting and importing this kind of data?
Re: coordinates used, e.g. when specifying an outlet location
- remember, the coordinates could be in other systems - in your project you used UTM (MTM?), so northings and eastings are appropriate, but there are other possibilities - this is important since you are not using a dataset that is generally available, so it would be better to try and anticipate what differences users of this tutorial might find using their own data
Slope
When you generate slope maps, they can be in degrees or percent slope. Which did you use? Should point this out to the user.
Wetness Index
- would be useful to explain a bit more what you are trying to do here (what the index is used for), and why there is a 2.718282 in the formula (natural logarithm)
formatting
Throughout, there are some formatting glitches and inconsistencies - it would be nice if that can get cleaned up. I've done some editing to fix areas that I found hard to read - you can check out the history of the wiki page to see what I'm referring to.
