Jump to navigationJump to searchNote that the 64 bit installer is appropriate only if the user has a 64 bit operating system. This is becoming more and more the norm, but it is not completely universal. If the 64 bit installer doesn't work for someone, they should use the 32 bit version instead.
Also note that in this tutorial "DEM" is assumed to refer to raster elevation models. This is one common distinction, but some will use this as an even broader category, which would include vector-based models such as TINs.
